Tests we Offer
We offer urine, hair follicle, and nail testing. These tests screen for illicit drug use and the misuse of prescription drug medication. Multiple drugs and alcohol may be found in these specimens.
Testing is done for Personal, random, pre-employment, reasonable cause, return to duty, and follow-up.

Urine Testing
Urine drug testing, completed in a laboratory, is the most accurate type of drug testing. If you can afford to wait for the urine drug test result, this is our first recommendation for drug testing. Drugs may be detected in urine for approximately 14 days.

Hair Testing
Hair provides a long-term history of drug and alcohol abuse by trapping biomarkers in the fibres of the growing hair strand. When collected close to the scalp, hair can provide up to a 3-month history of alcohol and drug abuse.

Nail Testing
Highly stable, simple to collect, and easy to ship and store, fingernails provide a test sample that is at the cutting edge of drug and alcohol testing. Nails can provide up to a 6-month history of alcohol and drug abuse.

Drug testing
at Home
We have received numerous comments over the years from concerned individuals that loved ones may be abusing drugs or prescription medications. For a variety of reasons, they are unable to get their loved one to a testing site.
To support these caring friends and families, we have developed professional drug testing kits that can be used at home. These drug screening kits are professional grade and are used by medical professionals, drug treatment centers, law enforcement, and employment professionals. Results are over 99% accurate and are ready in less than 5 minutes.
Our Home Drug Testing Program is specifically designed to offer professional grade support and results without sacrificing privacy. In fact, kits are discretely packaged and shipped to your home with all supplies included. We will even walk you through the process over the phone if needed.

Hair & Fingernail Testing
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Hair or Nail Drug Testing?
Testing hair or nail samples is a non-invasive method of providing evidence of an individual’s history of drug or alcohol use. They provide a record over a longer period of time (months rather than days) than any other sample type such as blood, urine or oral fluid.
How soon after drug use can a drug be detected in hair and nails?
It is estimated to take approximately 5-7 days from the time of drug use or exposure for head hair containing the drug markers to grow above the scalp and be available for cutting and analysis. It is recommended to wait at least three to four weeks following the suspected use of a drug before collection of a sample so that the period of use/exposure is included in the collected sample.
Biomarkers can be found in the fingernails approximately 1-2 weeks after drugs or alcohol are ingested.
Does body hair give the same type of results as head hair?
Body hair has a similar rate of growth as head hair, with a range of between approximately 0.9 and 1.1cm per month, but it has a different pattern of growth and resting phases. It has been estimated that body hair has a much higher proportion, approximately 40% - 60%, in the resting phase compared to only 10% - 15% for head hair.
As a consequence body hair samples are not divided into sections for analysis and any use of or exposure to a detected drug may have been in the weeks prior to the sample collection or many months earlier than this.
How much hair or nails are required?
For an accurate test we require a sample which is the approximate diameter of a standard drinking straw. The hair sample is collected by our certified collectors. This amount of hair is unlikely to give any considerable cosmetic concern to the donor.
Fingernail samples are clipped and collected by the donor in front of a trained collection staff member. A clipping of 2-3 mm long (about the width of a quarter) from all ten fingernails will give about 100 mg of sample, the ideal amount for screening and confirmation. Larger profiles may require more.
